About the Authors

Mickey and Ed met at the Sex & Spirit Conference at the Findhorn Foundation, Scotland and became unlikely friends. They (somehow) ended up taping conversations, as they checked in, while exorcising their own shadows.

About Mickey

Mickey Elias was a nice Goan Catholic boy, whose idyllic childhood in post-colonial Uganda came to an abrupt end at the age of eight. Fleeing death threats, he arrived in the UK, fatherless, finding himself in 1970s ‘barbaric’ rural Wales via refugee camps and familial emotional abuse.

Ex-marketeer, publicist, therapist, feng shui consultant, general nice-guy; this is where he stops and claims his manhood after years of addiction, workaholism, OCD, study, world travel and perpetual fleeing for his life.

About Ed Seeker

Ed Seeker (37) was an English middle-class golden boy; no financial pressure, no real direction, spiritually, emotionally, creatively frustrated. After the explosive break-up of his marriage he went into a tail-spin, crash-landing head-first into everything he had ever run away from. A former gay sex addict, solicitor and local government officer, he is a part-time father, illustrator and masseur.
